Product of the day promotion for ClickBank publishers

I've decided to do something fun and get some visibility for CB-Analytics and ClickBank pubslihers. Take a look at right column on the homepage where gravity champions are displayed. Your product can be there too. Even before it becomes ClickBank gravity champion. All it takes is a link to any existing page on http://www.cb-analytics.com/ and one user actually visiting the website through this link.

How it works?

All you need to do is place a follow link in the affiliate section of your website or any any other webpage that is visited by users who may find CB-Analytics useful. It order for ClickBank product to get proper credit for the link add pod=PUBLISHERID parameter to the link. So if publisher FOOBAR wanted to show off his gravity charts he would use http://www.cb-analytics.com/product.php?id=FOOBAR&pod=FOOBAR. If he would like to link to the homepage http://www.cb-analytics.com/?pod=FOOBAR The page would then 301 redirect to itself but without the "pod" parameter but visit would be stored in the database. Only requests that have a valid "referer" header will be credited. This means that directly navigating to this URL will have no effect. It's up to the webmaster to choose the anchor text. One good idea is to hotlink (yes, I don't mind) to one of the charts related to the product.

Every day script will inspect the database and randomly pick one of the products that provided at least one click the day before. Link to details page of this product will then proudly be displayed on the homepage for the entire day. Amount of traffic doesn't matter. So products that send 1 click have same chance as those that send 1,000.
